How to Return or Exchange an Item at Hollister

Hollister is a clothing company that caters to the younger crowd. The stores are often located in malls and are known for being dark with grungy music playing for shoppers. Hollister sells everything from undergarments to jeans both online and in store.

Returning an Item

Return an item to a Hollister store: Hollister stores can accept returns for items purchased in store or items purchased online. Find a store in your area here http://www.hollisterco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StoreLocator?storeId=10251&catalogId=10201&langId=-1. You need to take the original receipt or the packing slip with you when returning items to a Hollister location. Items must be in original condition, though it does not say the tags have to be attached.

Return an item by mail: The same return rules apply for mail in returns. If you use the Smart Label to return your Hollister purchase, you will be charged a shipping and handling fee of $7. If you choose to send the package at your own cost, just make sure you can track the package.

Official Hollister Return Policy

Hollister makes returning merchandise easy to understand. Items purchased in store can only be returned to a Hollister location, though customers can choose any location for the return. Online items can be returned by mail or in store, for convenience. Items must be in original condition. There is a $7 charge to use the Smart Label included on the packing slip, but customers have the right to return items to the Hollister returns department at their own cost, but in this case the Smart Label should not be used because once the bar code on the label is scanned at the returns center, the refund will be docked the $7 fee.

Exchanges for online items can be done in store or by mail, but in store items cannot be exchanged by mail. You must take any items you purchased in a Hollister store back to a store for an exchange.

  1. Someone has stole my Hollister coat but I really need it back. No-one has handed it back. Can I please get a refund. We have still got the receipt.

  2. if you got the wrong size jeans off line and they arrived at your house a couple of days ago can you send the back to hollister and then have them get the same jeans different size and send them back. with a 7$ fee

  3. I was charged $25 at the post office even though I used the label provided! Why is this and what can I do about it? Stores are closed and all I needed was an exchange….this is really unacceptable!
