How to Return Or Exchange an Item at Forever 21

Forever 21 offers trendy clothing at affordable prices. They operate numerous retail locations throughout North America, and you can also order clothes online via their website. The return policies are different if you’ve made a purchase in person or online.

Returning An Item

Returning items in person: Forever 21’s official policy seems to be that items must be returned to a Forever 21 store within the country of purchase, which would certainly leave room for flexibility. The same applies to exchanging items. You can use the official online to get in touch with a Forever 21 near you.

Returning items online: To be eligible for a refund, items purchased online must be shipped back at the consumer’s expense. Forever 21 does not provide an RMA # or return shipping label. Consumers have 30 days to return merchandise, starting at the shipping date, not the receiving date. For an exchange or store credit ONLY, you can bring items to any Forever 21 store, even if they were purchased online.

The packing receipt that came with your order should include a return form, which should be included in your return package.

Official Forever 21 Return Policy

Items must be unworn and still have original tags. In the case of swimwear, they also need to have original hygienic lining. Refunds should be processed within 3 weeks of return shipping.

Purchases made with gift cards, cosmetics, jewelery, and FINAL SALE items are non-returnable.

Only damaged or incorrect items may be exchanged by mail.

We called the Forever 21 customer service number at: 1-888-494-3837. When you call in, you can press option #3, but it only reiterates the customer service policy that can be found online. We did get through to an operator by staying on the line, and she was helpful about providing the address, but she couldn’t actually process our return over the phone, and directed us to the policy on the website multiple times.

  2. the absolute worst return policy. I didn’t buy these items for myself and I never will ever in my life buy anything from them again for anyone.

I have order things online and I am trying to return them some of the items I received are very nice til I receive them they are either to small or short and little so when I want to return the items online only its a problem returning this will be the last time I purchase anything from forever 21 its not worth the money just terrible and I very dissatisfied and disappointed

  5. You need to put your returns on the order page. It takes foreve to even find the proper page. I don’t think I will order online any closed the Mission Viejo store too?

  6. I feel very validated after reading this. I have been trying to return something for weeks. The website says they include a prepaid shipping label but I never received one (and assume my daughter discared the one that came with the item). I have emailed, called, chatted and cannot reach anyone or get an answer. I only wanted the address and here it is. Thank you.
