How to Return or Exchange an Item at Urban Outfitters

Returning an Item
Returning an item in an Urban Outfitters store: Items purchased online or in store can be returned in store. You have 30 days to make your return if you want a refund. If your return is processed after 30 days, you will be given store credit. Your refund will be processed using the payment method used on the original order. For instance, credit card order refunds will be placed back on the credit card. If you purchased online with Paypal, you will receive store credit for your refund. Returning an item by mail: If you have the packing slip that came with your order, there is a pre-paid sticker label on that packing slip. You can use that slip to return your online purchases. There is no cost to return an item. If you choose to return the item without using the pre-paid label, you can send your return to the returns address below. The pre-paid label can be tracked online at http://www.newgistics.com/v3/Tracking.aspx. You’ll need the 12-digit number on the packing slip to track the return.

Urban Outfitters claims they want every customer to be happy with their purchase. They will gladly accept returns for up to 30 days for a refund. If your return occurs past the 30-day mark, you will be given credit for your order via a store credit memo or card.
