How to Return or Exchange an Item at QVC

QVC is an online and television shopping network that sells some of the most popular items at a reduced price or on a payment system so customers can afford the things they want without paying the entire price at one time. QVC is a 100-percent online company, which means the company does not have a physical storefront where customers can return purchases. All returns must be processed through the website at

Returning an Item

Returning items purchased online: According to the Returns FAQS, customers simply have to read the return instructions on the back of the label to return items to QVC. In some cases customers may have to call customer service before returning some items like large screen televisions and special orders.

Also attached to the packing slip is the Q Label or return label. If your Q Label is not attached to the packing slip, you can log in to your QVC account to print a new return label. The returned shipping cost is printed on that label. This is the amount your return will be reduced by when the cost is refunded, if applicable. Make a copy of the order sheet or packing slip before placing in the box with the return so you can track the return.

If you choose to return the merchandise at cost, do not use the Q Label to prevent the return shipping cost from being deducted from your refund.

Official QVC Return Policy

QVC allows customers to return any items they are not happy with during the first 30 days of receipt without calling customer service, unless it is a specialty item. Jewelry items should not be packaged with other items as they have a unique return address. If a product is found faulty after the first 30 days, contact customer service for further information on how to proceed with a return or exchange.

Customers are encouraged to call customer service at 1-800-367-9444 with any questions they have about the returns process. We called QVC customer service to ask about a jewelry return. An automated system answered the call and asked about the nature of the call. We pressed the button for returns and the automated system went into a long script telling us how to return an item. When the customer service representative finally answered she said she did not need to approve or initiate the returns process unless the item fit into certain criteria, she then asked for out order number if we needed any further questions asked.

  1. I purchased the nexus7 tablet in December. Really not happy with it. Would like to purchase a different tablet from qvc. Nexus7 tablet was hardly used. Is there any way I can return the tablet and be credited something toward a new tablet. Tablet in in EXCELLENT condition. Thank you.

  2. I returned the Jacqueline Kennedy Classic Leather Strap
    Watch because the leather band was much too big and too
    long. It would not stay in place, it kept turning around and sit on the back side of my wrist. The band should have been made smaller and in different sizes. It
    was like– a Man’s watch. I cannot imagine Jackie ever wearing this watch with her thin wrists. Sorry but I really wanted it but it just wasn’t a good fit for a lady


    • Lisa I was so sad to hear the other day that you were leaving the Q. I often tuoghht that if I ever met a QVC host, I would want it to be you. You have not only such professional polish but there is a special sincerity & honesty that trasmits through the screen from you. GIRL YOU ARE FOR REAL!!! While I hate that I will no longer see you on QVC anymore, I also know that there must be bigger, better things in store for you. You certainly don’t strike me as someone who would make a decision lighly so I wish you nothing but success & happiness in all your future endeavors! I can’t wait for the jewelry & the book! I wish you and Gino all the abundance that God has to offer!!! Seasons do change and I know you will be ready for whatever & whichever way the wind blows!! Love ya, girl!!!   5. Just received the Dell laptop I ordered, upon plugging and and beginning startup process, noticed damaged/defective computer…. Screen goes haywire when touched. Can I return at stone battery red., Lancaster, pa location and will I be charged for shipping since its faulty??? How do I get a return label without being charged??

  6. I received a Christmas gift from a party who bought it through QVC. She said she purchased it this summer, so it was purchased several months ago. Can I return the jacket and pants as they are much too large.

  8. anyone getting letters on returns they are making online? Most of the time the products I am getting are really not as good as they are boasting about on TV. Some products are downright defective, or used and abused by other purchasers. What’s the point of having a returns policy and then send out letters to consumers about excessive product returns. The only way to know is to buy and that’s what QVC wants. Why not have vendors that are more honest when “hawking” their products on your shows. Of merchandise I have kept, it is pretty good. Other items are just plain garbage or should be sold at 99 cent stores.

  9. can NOT print the Qreturn labels. Have been on with customer service three different days now. they keep sending it to my email stating Qreturn label attached but lo and behold NO labels are getting sent in an attachment.

  10. I received the scetchers go walk memory form fit shoes.they are too large i need to exchange for another size.there was no receipt,of any kind,in the box

  11. A return label was not included with my package and I have to return the item. I’ve been on the QVC website to print a Return Label and it is not that easy. Can’t get to talk to a live Customer Service Representative. Very frustrating!

I echo the statement of a number of customers that I have been trying to get a return label emailed to me so I can print it out and return a tree Item H205600 we got it in July opened in Dec. not what we wanted, lost Q return label, chatted with Janet, Raymond, Shera, Elymay, they all said we will send return label to email and you can print it in 12 hours never arrived, they gave me 10 days to return. why is it so hard to get a return label sent to an email address, PLEASE SOME ONE HELP, the other customers have had the same problem. I hope someone sees this at the QVC office, maybe I can get some relief…..?????
