Returning The North Face purchases in store: Customers can choose to visit a North Face store to return merchandise purchased in store and online. Locate your nearest store using the search engine here You must have the receipt for the merchandise you purchased to return merchandise. If you purchased your item using Paypal, you must return the merchandise by mail to receive a Paypal credit or you can choose to return the item in store for a store credit.

Returning The North Face purchases by mail: The North Face suggests logging in to your account at to start your refund. You can also choose to send your return to the returns department mailing address provided on the label if you want to skip the $7 return shipping charge that will be deducted from your refund. It is best to send your merchandise with a tracking label.

Official The North Face Return Policy

All items purchased from The North Face have a one-year return policy. You must have the receipt or the packing slip for the return, however, as The North Face does not allow returns without one of these documents. There is no mention of the items having to be in new condition for the return to be accepted and this is likely because The North Face items are meant to be used in the outdoors.

Customers without a receipt for an online purchase can log in to their account and print out documentation of order. If you do not have the receipt for an in store purchase, you cannot return your item to The North Face.

We called customer service at 1-888-863-1968 to find out the mailing address for returns. The automated system answered the call giving us options. We chose option #3 for general inquires. The call was transferred to a customer service representative who gave us the return address without question.

  1. I tried to retirn the jacket for an exchange or refund at a local DICK’s store, they would not accept it…………..your website said they would, I was really disppointed as I took time and money todlrive there……….

Most other retailers have a return sticker in the box….easieee..peesie…not you must go on line sign in…. read ads….. think you can deliver back to another store…/no no Why don’t you make things simple. Will never order from North Face again. Your all hung up in the details

  4. I think your return policy stinks, where is the return label? All orders I have ordered online has a label for easy return, reminds me of DISH! I will never buy from Northface online again! We no longer have DISH Network either after 13 years,lol.
